Core Values

A. Submission to Christ:

Goal: We value the life of our young people, to be submitted and transformed, by the renewing of their minds, in all belief and practice, as created children of God.

Rationale: Romans 12:1-2; 1 Peter 5:5-9; James 4:7

 

B. Community of Grace:

Goal: We value the development of loving, redemptive relationships among our students, both with God and others, as Christ first demonstrated grace to us, maturing, building, and reaching unity in the faith and the fullness of Christ.

Rationale: 1 John 4:10-11; 2 Corinthians 5:20-21

 

C. Focus on Truth:

Goal: We value the growth and instruction of our students in the truth as God has revealed it, first and foremost in His Word, and also in His Creation, and in its application in all that they study.

Rationale: 1 Timothy 4:12,15-16; 6:19; 2 Timothy 2:15; 3:14-17

 

D. Passion for Excellence:

Goal: We value the development of a passion for learning, that in Christ are found all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Striving to do one is best with the gifts God has given is an expression of that value.

Rationale: Deuteronomy 4:9-10; Philippians 4:8; Colossians 3:17

 

E. Leadership Through Sacrifice:

Goal: We value the development of Christian discipleship and leadership through sacrificial living for the Kingdom of God. This sacrifice is emphasized through the denying and giving of oneself to another.

Rationale: Ephesians 4:12; 5:1-2, 15-17; Colossians 3:23-24; 1 Peter 4:10

 

F. Partnership with Home and Church

Goal: We value the God-ordained influence of the home and Church in making disciples, as well as our opportunity as a Christian school to come alongside and serve our families.

Rationale: 1 Corinthians 4:16-17; Ephesians 4:25; 2 Timothy 3:14-1

 

G. Civic Engagement

Goal: Our children are the gatekeepers of our Country's future. We will prepare them to be engaged in the civic affairs of their community, state, and our Country in a manner that honors God's Word as the foundation of our liberties, freedom, and as a constitutional republic.

Rationale: Isaiah 6:8, Mathew 5:13-16

 

H. Dignity of Human Life

Goal: We value all human beings as created in God's image, acknowledging the truth of God's plan, creating us male and female, with great racial and cultural diversity, being valued from conception to natural death. We further acknowledge that believers are the temple of the Holy Spirit, both physically and emotionally.

Rationale: Psalm 139:13-15, Genesis 1:26-27, Exodus 20:13, Jeremiah 1:5, I Cor. 6:19-20
